Ingredient ~ Ali Bouzari

I can not begin to describe how much I loved this book. My mind was blown a few times! Sugar in ice cream is the reason why it doesn’t freeze solid! OMG….who knew?!? But the way Ali Bouzari explains food and cooking is brilliant.

I bought this book for my mom for Christmas but, naturally, had to read it before I gave it to her. And she is living in Hawaii now so I had a couple extra days to read this one. Awesome read! I recommend getting the hard cover book though. The art and pictures are great! It is a great coffee table book or gift.

The science behind food and what it is made up of was so fun to read about. I have noticed that I think about what I am doing more in the kitchen because I have read this book. I may just have to buy this book for myself so I can have it to look back on if I get stuck in the kitchen. I mean, what if my soup is too thick? This book has taught me what I need to do next to make it amazing.

Now to make lunch for my girls!!
